Commands Dictionary is an android application which has been built for getting quick reference to commands required for AIX admin,DBA i.e Database Administration as well as SAN which stands for Storage Area Network.It also includes UNIX as well as TSM commands which are helpful for AIX,DBA and SAN.This application gives a short decsription of these commands which can be quite useful to Core IT people.
Short Description of AIX:-
Acronym for Advanced Interactive eXecutive, a version of UNIX produced by IBM. AIX runs on a variety of computers, including PCs and workstations. AIX incorporates elements of System V, BSD, and OSF/1, as well as features to make administering, AIX somewhat different from working with other Unix implementations.
Short Description of DBA:-
The Oracle Database (commonly referred to as Oracle RDBMS or simply as Oracle) is an object-relational database management system (ORDBMS)[2] produced and marketed by Oracle Corporation.
Short Description of SAN:-
A storage area network (SAN) is a dedicated network that provides access to consolidated, block level data storage. SANs are primarily used to make storage devices, such as disk arrays, tape libraries, and optical jukeboxes, accessible to servers so that the devices appear like locally attached devices to the operating system.
