Grocery List Grocery List v1.0.2

Free

Grocery List is a simple Android application to replace the paper grocery list. It has two modes: the edit list mode for creating your grocery list, and the shopping mode for when you are shopping.

In edit mode you can use the search box to quickly find an item in the database. If it is not yet in the database, you can create it. Once you've found the item, you can add it to the grocery list.
In shopping mode, you only see the categories and items that are on your grocery list. You can select a category to show only items in particular category (e.g Vegetables). When you select an item, it will be removed from the grocery list.

Grocery List is designed for one-handed operation in shopping mode. Using only the trackball, you can switch between categories and items, and tick off the seleted items.

Confirmation request added

I'm the developer, but I don't have an Android phone yet. Thank you for the feedback. Didn't even know whether the application actually worked on a real phone. I've added a confirmation request after you tick off an item. This feature is on by default, but can be easily switched off.

One minor issue ...

Works well for what it is, my only complaint is that the shopping screen touch response is too sensitive, it is far too easy to tick off items with an inadvertant wipe. It should really be a press and hold to tick off.

And one more thing...

This should be set up as a google gadget like google calendar so people can edit from home and work and it appears on the list on the phone. Also simple sharing like the calendar so two people can add to the same list. Husband/wife or roommates can compile their grocery list online from work or home, and when one goes to the store they can see the complete compiled list...

There could be some cool pricing options to say which store to go to but that would require a huge amount of price info to be collected...

Where do you get this?

I can't locate it on the market.
