Home Sav v1.0
Automatically save pictures, videos, etc. when you return home. When your device's WiFi (and optionally power) connect to your Home Network, files created or modified on your phone since the last backup event, are automatically copied to a network pc, server, or storage device. JCIFS SMB protocols are used supporting common Windows shares or Samba (Linux) shares. Multiple file types: jpg, pdf, zip, txt, mp3, etc. may be included in the configuration. Optionally, a wake-on-lan message can be sent to compatible hosts. Once configured, this app will run in the background when required. When a copy event completes, the app service finishes, and awaits the next alert. Copied files may have a prefix prepended to the file name to differentiate between multiple devices using the same host, and destination folders may be organized by one of several year/month configurations. The Last Update run date may be changed to an earlier date to copy eligible files created after this date (first run, or changes to source setting). Duplicate files are not replaced, they are copied with an appended version number. Get contextual help - long-press the config setting, or see documentation from the menu.
When the WiFi connection changes, or the device is placed on charge, the app receives an alert which starts the background service. If configured settings match the connected environment, and files dated later than the previous run are detected, those files are copied to the destination in the background. The option to include a log of files copied during each event can be set, and it will be saved in the destination folder.
