Let the child practice its shape/pattern recognition using motion jigsaw puzzles. It rehearses/trains shapes/patterns, sizes and colors comparison. There’s a reward at the end of each jigsaw puzzle. Jigsaw puzzle also helps the child to practice its fine motor skills. It gains a confidence in holding, moving and dropping the bricks/cubes/parts/units to their destination.

Jigsaw puzzles guide the child through pictures and examples. They use nowhere any legends nor words and are therefore they’re fully understandable worldwide.

Unlike conventional jigsaw puzzles the individual bricks/cubes/parts/units are of a different shape each time, based on the target object. Therefore they practice shape memory at that. Moreover, it is easier for children and therefore more attracting to assemble.

We used the knowledge that Maria Montessori published in such a way, so the jigsaw puzzles would remain primarily entertaining. We are both creators and dads and all of our four children and the children of our friends were a welcome aid, an inspiration and a source of information.
