Have you ever been on a bus or train during a long trip and melodiously slipped into an ultra-creative musical lull…just to be pulled back to reality at the realization that you have no means to capture your creative brilliance? Perhaps you’ve been on tour, always carrying around a paperback scrapbook (that doesn’t fit into your pocket – meaning you have to leave it behind where you stay until you come back after a gig) – worried that it might end up in someone else’s hands?. Well, worry no more – because Song Scrapbook is here to set your musical mind at ease. Gone are the days when you had to lug out your laptop-notebook or that ever-deteriorating paperback to scribble down your musical genius. Now you’ve got all your musical ideas (stored in pristine condition) in one convenient place – your mobile device.
Three years in the making, and finally here to stay, We give you Song Scrapbook – the only mobile scrapbook that takes care of your song drafting needs from start to finish. Ideal for guitarist, lyricists and pure song writers Song Scrapbook provides all the important tools needed when drafting a new song. All you need is a decently sized mobile android device or android phablet and Song Scrapbook and you are covered for all future moments of musical inspiration.
Conceptualized by a guitarist Song Scrapbook was designed to capture only the important aspects of song writing. Using Song Scrapbook a song writer will be able to capture everything from the structure and chord sequence of a new song - right down to the lyrics. Song Scrapbook even allows song writers to record 2-minute audio samples (to capture the melody of new songs) for future reference. This ensures that song writers capture all the important parts of a new song in that brief ever-fleeting moment of musical genius – and then carries on later, when time allows, right where he/she left off.
=============================================================================
*** 5 STEP Process of capturing a new Song ***
1. Title: create a song title for the new song.
2. Song structure: define the structure of the song (i.e. how many verses and choruses it has).
3. Song chords: define the chord sequence for the different parts of the song (invaluable for guitarists).
4. Song lyrics: define the lyrics for the various parts of the song.
5. Audio guide: record an audio sample for future reference – (i.e. a melody guide that will help get those creative cogs-and-wheels moving again after a prolonged period of absence).
=============================================================================
The 5-step process outlined above is only a guide for capturing a new song. When in a rush, most of the steps (except STEP 1) may be skipped to be worked on later when time is less hostile towards your creative endeavors – but it's recommended to capture as much as possible during that moment of musical enlightenment to ensure you have a much clearer reference point when coming back to work on the song at a later stage.
Song Scrapbook gives you the ability to backup all songs created with Song Scrapbook to a cloud or local storage of your choice – and allow you to pull Song Scrapbook backups from your preferred storage when migrating from one device to another. This should give all Song Scrapbook user ease of mind that their valuable ideas are kept secure and always accessible.
