SlideLock Developer?
Soumis par loganmc10 le mar, 03/06/2012 - 23:52
I'm just about to publish my first app using SlideLock, and I have a question:
I've set it all up, I've setup a key and all that. When I run the program normally my "License Not Found" code runs, when I turn on Test Mode, my "License Found" code runs.
So my question:
When I publish my app and turn off Test Mode, am I going to be locked out of my own app? Do I need to "buy" my own app to get a key? Shouldn't it give the developer a free pass? Or am I doing something wrong?
SlideLock Developer?

> When I publish my app and turn off Test Mode, am I going to be locked out of my own app?
Yes, once test mode is off, SlideLock will allow access only to devices that purchased an app copy.
> Do I need to "buy" my own app to get a key?
Yes. SlideLock uses purchased tokens/license keys to grant access to the app features.
> Shouldn't it give the developer a free pass?
Unfortunately, it does not because app purchases are linked to devices and not to accounts. This ensures that your app will not be abused (buy once, used on many devices).
