changing from get jar to slideme market on coby tablet

I bought a coby kyros mid7036 which comes preloaded with get jar market. On the coby site it says that because of problems with the getjar market to change to slideMe. I have tried to download the slideMe market from numorus links and When download reaches between 50 %-70% I receive a download failed message each time. I have no idea how to fix this.

Are you downloading through 3G/4G or Wi-fi? Please try on Wi-fi or try restarting your device before downloading again.

Are you able to download it completely with your PC/Mac? (You can transfer it to your tablet once downloaded, via USB if need be)
