Sorry, but this has to be one of the slowest sites on the web. Can't something be done about it?

Hello, we are working hard to push the new version of slideme.org out the door. It'll certainly perform better.

The upgrade is being done right now. If you want to browse around and tell us which pages you think can run faster, please do.

Everything seems to be quite normal now, both here on the web via iMac and via the HTC Magic browser :)

Also the update to 2.9 went well from within 2.8
