A Brief History of Rome is a simple turn-based strategy game on the rise and fall of the Roman Empire from 275 BCE to 475 ACE. Recruit Legions and Auxilia to conquer the known world and then struggle to defend Rome against the hordes of barbarians.
The aim of the game is to score points, not conquer the map. It is not for everyone, but if you enjoy turn-based strategy, you may enjoy this challenge.
Note: Simple does not mean Easy. This IS a hard game for players who appreciate a strategical challenge.
