Android Native Browser Capabilities

Application has an abstract of navigator's properties and finds out if the browser supports the most popular HTML5 features - from Application Cache to WebGL 3D graphics. In addition, Visual Shell builds up a complete list of CSS properties available on the platform.

Applications List and Permissions

Visual Shell gives an outlook of all applications installed in the system and provides the user with detailed information about packages location and requested permissions. This is a visual equivalent of the pm utility.

Display Metrics

Application shows the metrics of device's display including its density, size and screen brightness.

Environment Variables

Visual Shell displays the values of the specified environment variables. This is a visual equivalent of the Linux printenv utility.

Shell has a built-in file system navigator showing all files in the system.

Storage Main Directories

Visual Shell demonstrates the size in bytes of the system directory, cache/downloads directory, data directory as well as the size of external storage.

Telephony Information and Network Data Flow

Application has a visual representation of network data flow showing traffic bytes sent and received through the mobile interface.

HTML, Text and Image Viewers

Visual Shell has built-in HTML Viewer to display local HTML and XHTML files. Text Viewer can be used to show the contents of both plain text and source code files (Java, C, XML, PHP, etc). Image Viewer allows the user to view local images in the following formats: bitmap files (.bmp); Portable Network Graphics files (.png); Graphics Interchange Format files (.gif); files compliant with Joint Photographic Experts Group format (.jpg, .jpeg, .jpe); JPEG File Interchange Format files (.jfif).

Audio and Video Players
