Live Crossword Tournaments, for the first time, provides you the grounds for competing against your friends and other crossword puzzle lovers in completing the same crossword puzzle. Each round you are given 4 minutes to answer 20 clues of a crossword. At the end of each round, your score is shown along with anyone else's scores. You are given one score for each correct word, 5 scores for completing the whole crossword correctly, and one score for each 30 seconds you’ve finished before the timer goes off. You can always trace top 100 scores in leaderboard section from main menu to compare you records with friends and other players and monitor your position in crossword competition.

AaPaMa respects your privacy. LiveCrosswordTournaments application collects certain information about you in order to enable you to access to the application, rank the users according to their scores, advertise within the application and also improve it:

User name: the user name is a name you choose to sign up into the tournament and is used as a unique profile in player database.

Email address: entering an email address is not mandatory, although if you enter one it is stored in the same database. Your email address won’t be used for marketing purposes and won’t be shared or sold to anybody though we might send you information regarding updates to this application or future applications and services.

Facebook account: you can log into the application with your Facebook account. If you log in through your Facebook, your name, gender, and email address are retained in your player profile. However, none of them will be shared or sold to anyone.

Tournament results: Every 10 minutes when the tournament is over, the players are ranked according their scores in a leaderboard. Also, the results might be scanned to for any cheating and proper measures will be taken against cheaters.

Tournament statistics: the statistics regarding total scores and total number of tournaments played for each player are stored in our servers.

Unsubscribing: We always try hard to provide your control over your information. Your information will be deleted at your request unless your request is impractical unreasonable.

Hosting: our applications are hosted on Rackspace servers. We do not have access to geographical location of the servers and it is possible that the information is processed outside the country of your residence.
